Question What size wheels for drag radials?

I am trying to find a set of wheels to fit the rear of my car to mount a pair of drag radials or slicks on. What size wheels should I get and what size tires do I need as well. I have a 90 LX that has lowering springs on it and I am still running my quad shocks. Thanks.

You'll need at least a 7" whell to mount a 245 series tire on your car. This is the biggest you can go without rubbing problems. But if they do rub, then you can flip your quad shocks around- this will give you the added clearance you need.

I'm running 235/60/15 BFG's on some 10 holes. I cut constant 1.8's, That's with mega byte jr's and a one side of the front sway bar loose. On an otherwise stock suspension...for now.

A guy just told me he'd sell me a set of 14" steel rims that have an old set of slicks mounted on them still for $50. He also said he has a set of 15" Turbines he'd give me. Maybe I'll try the slicks on the 14" rims and some Nitto's on the 15" =)
