Question If you had $500, what would you do with it?

Hey, if you guys had $500 to spend and want to get something or somethings to make your mustang look a little meaner/cooler/customized, what would you do? Tinted headlight covers? Carbon fiber hood? I wunna hear it! Thanks!

Full length cowl hood and cervinis front bumper. That would kill the $500 to but man it would look mean.

I'd get the Drag lites I've been wanting for the last year. I swear by the end of the summer I'm gonna have draglites.

I'd buy a huge Crack rock, the size of a Boulder...Oh...Opps. Ummmm..I mean. No I wouldnt!

Lets see, 500$$ for apperance mods..what would I get??? Um first thing is a Cobra front bumper. Then with the money left over, a pair of racing stripes on the car.

That or possibly take my 500 dollars and save up for a month and get enough for the Shaker Ram Air set up from Design concepts. THat has both Form and Function.

I would get a 2.5" Cobra R hood, a new trunklid (to get rid of my stupid luggage rack), and an LED brake-light small wing for the trunklid. Then, get it all painted to match my car (or maybe go ahead and repaint the car!). I guess I went over $500...OK, just do the hood first...

Hey, I saw that shaker hood, I like it, but the shaker for a cobra with a super charger won't be in until the end of the summer. Hey! Stripes might be nice too. I like the Cobra R spoiler, nice and big, and you know, when we get up to speed, it may actually start to do something . I love the Cobra R cowl hood too. So many things!

What else guys?!

(Hehe, I'm going to use some of your ideas down the road, thanks! )

I'd buy a round trip ticket to Houston.

or a set of Autometer carbon fiber gauges, but probably Houston.

Take care,

Assuming your car is bone stock in appearance, and you have to stretch this $500 for all it's worth, I'd do this:

Chrome flashing around the outer fender wells.
Red double bladed wipers.
Aluminum header wrap. Run it from front to rear over the hood, roof, and trunk in a double stripe. Affordable racing stripes.
Sandblast some steel wheels, then paint with West Virginia chrome (chrome spray paint).
White wall tires, size 225-50-15 rear, 195-50-15 front.

You should have a couple of hundred dollars left over to drink yourself into oblivion for listening to me.

first off if i had $500 bucks it would go for rims! rims make the car! if you wanted to spend it right now, then go with the body mods.

i would make my mach1 hood into a working ram air hood. so people would stop giving me crap. then tint all my windows 95% and if that dosent do it, some clear corners.

Are your windows tinted? Tint made my car look alot meaner, to me anyhow. A hood would be nice. Rims are great but then you gotta get the tires, if you get big and littles. Another trick I've seen is to add a wing that stands taller than the roof line, curb feeler and some fuzzy dice... PHAT YO!

Chris, what's in Houston?? I know you're not hitting on my woman!!

Hey man, I'm only human!

I dunno, Houston sounds like a good place to start an East Coast tour. I'm gettin itchy. Only one race is scheduled for all of July, so I might go for a ride. I won't have time off like that again until November.

BTW, I love your avatar! That is so cool! I didn't get it at first, but once I read your other thread, it all became crystal clear. Too hip!

Take care,
-Chris
