Question computer question

Does anyone know how to convert scanned images that are in .tif format to jpeg or mpeg format.
I scanned some pics but the format is way too large to send via email.
Does anyone know how to do this or if there is a program to convert image formats?

Go to Yahoo.com and search for "Graphic Workshop". You should end up with a link to Alchemy or something like that. This program will convert formats and scale anything very well. I have used it for many years. It's shareware so it is free for at least 30 days.
