Unhappy Making my engine stand out in shows

It seems that people just pass my car up since it isn't a 289. I have all the right features (original) the chrome air cleaner, the chrome breather cap (a little rusty) and a chrome radiator cap. What can I do for them to say WOW, at a car show or MCA event.

Put a supercharger on it. That will get plenty of people saying WOW.

If you want people to ooohh at a six cly it's got to be exotic. Try a 4v carb or trips. A header, chrome valve cover, something to really catch there eye. polish the top tank on the radiator it looks like it gold plated when done. Chrome rad cap and master cly cover. Chrome alt. Use you imagination and you can get as much attention with a modified six cyl as an eight. Chrome hood hinges and latches, chrome fender bolts. Get you engine pulleys chromed. Just some ideas. RAY
