Default Where do you cruise to?

I was just wondering where do all the Mustang owners cruise to?
I usually cruise around the town, hit the highway, and/or drive by the house I intend to purchase in August. Some times I Pick up ice cream for the wife and kid.

Where do you cruise to on the weekends (daylight hours)?

Is there a place in your area where all stang owners hang out?

Hey North Jersey guys where do you hang out??

There is a local park by my house that I always cruise to. In the last couple years, it seems like more and more rice show up there. It used to be all domestics...stangs, cameros, vettes, big hairy burnouts in the parking lots, and lots of fun. Now, there are a bunch of imports/rice that populate the park. It's a shame

When I just want to cruise and enjoy the weather, I usually go out as the sun is going down...just before sunset. It's such a good way to relax too!!

Default Set route

I have kind of a set route here in Houston that I cruise mostly daytime weekends. Besides enjoying and testing my latest mods, I'm sort of looking for any street action that might come up from any friendly enthusiests (domestic or import).

I mostly go by myself unless the rare occasion arises when my sons are visiting and want to "run the Mustang" or if my wife might want a short "demo" to demonstrate where all that money is going.

Ihave a 20-25 mile run that I do including boulavard, freeway (turnpike) and freeway feeder (frontage) roads. These feeder roads are where I do most street racing due to lack of cross streets and hiding places.

At any rate, that's what an oldie like me does for cruising. No 2:00 AM organizerd street racing for me. I need to avoid jail time at all costs.

Yeah, I never cared for the "2 am organized street racing" stuff either. I probably won't ever go for that either. If I go cruising, I usually have a destination picked out. Don't usually just go out from my house intending to come right back. If I'm out cruising it's usually on the weekends (late afternoon Sundays) or early afternoon Fridays and I'd be, for example on the way to a friend's house, and take the long scenic route. Then perhaps the friend and I would go to the mall or somewhere else, take the long way, but still have some destination in mind.

Also, for me, if I'm in the '79, the "scenic route" means instead of taking the quick way by goin on the hwy, I'll take the way with a moderate amount of traffic lights, being that the car has a C4 and 3.55s.

I really dont have one. We used to go and hang out at a parking lot a few miles away on saturday nights. everything from rice to highly modded stangs, f bodies, highly modded supras and occasionally vipers would come out.

this however was before the san diego law stating that if you are caught even a spectator at a street race you recieve a misdemeanor.

Usually I would just cruise down a main street that goes right into Toronto. If you stick to this road it'll take about an hour, but if you have a nice car you get alot of attention. It's nice cause you can cruise and at some points you can give her with no one around you kinda thing. That was when I had the Mach 1. The Pace Car is going soon, so my next car will be the same deal. I'd usually cruise alone, or a friend would join. Sometimes it used to be the g/f (ex now), but I don't think she appreciated it as much as I did. =)

Mine usually just cruises around town, or down to the Packy to pick up some Budwieser. Its done its time as a daily driver. Now I'll be lucky if it gets 500 miles a year on it. It just sits in the garage clean and waits for its light workout small cruise around town.

I just hop in the car and go. I like the back roads where there is not as many police and traffic. Not to drive like an a--, but to enjoy the car. I turn the radio off and just drive. I dont really have any friends with fast cars, so I dont go and loiter in the parking lots. Besides, I like it quiet when I'm cruisin.

I cruise either down by Lake Ontario or towards Niagara Falls. That way, I can always stop at a small winery and grab a bottle for latter on.
