My Stang is known!
It's cool to know that people remember your Mustang.
Often people come up to me and say, so YOU'RE the guy that drives this car! And then they compliment it, and want to pop the hood and all! Mind you, my car really is nothing special! (to me it is) But for people to come up and compliment and tell me about races they've seen me in on the street is kinda cool! It has the only color paint job I've ever seen on a stang, and used to have a big Metallica sticker on the back window that people still ask about! LOL I even had a cop approach me once and tell me he saw me on the highway racing a vette but he didn't even bother trying to catch up cuz we were cruising!! LOL He said he remembered from that sticker and that's how he recognized the car and he said he wants to race with his Mustang! People who don't own a Mustang have no idea how cool it is! It's a good feelin!

I got such a kick out of my friends and family when we got ours, they could understand crazy driving a mustang but not Lee, I guess because I always drove a Buick or Olds something big and lay back, now its I'm crazy, well your right, they don't know till they have one........So I will continue to drive on as soon as the docs say its ok, can't wait. I know exactly what you mean Joe. I'm still in shock from FFW in Ennis last year, when someone recognised my car from this site! Too bad he wasn't a member of the board, but it was still pretty darn cool.
And don't feel bad Crazy, every employee at my body shop knows me. I've been in and out of that place 7 times within the last 12 months, my luck's bound to get better soon. |
