Watkins Glen - Tribute To Muscle Cars
What can I say. An Amazing day. 400+ cars Racing on Saturday and sunday (today and tomorrow). Wish I could've stayed up for the whole weekend but I had to work. All the racers ride on the old city track with police escorts. The whole event is great. I also got to drive on the track, 3 laps total in my fathers corvette, him driving 2 ( wish i could've driven it more
 ). Also got to take runs on the old city track before all the SVRA did. Oh yes, I also got to meet Vic Edelbrock and both of his daughters. Which leads me to this. Asking him for spare parts for my mustang didn't work at all. His split window corvette was amazing, along with his two daughters GT-350's. If anyone is around the NY area next year from Sept 5-7/04 please let me know if you are interested. I wouldn't mind sending you a copy of the sigh up's to show the cars and drive. That is the offical Pace Car for this weekend. For more pictures as the weekend goes on they will be posting them at Watkins Glen
