With 700hp+ And the Tires it had and the lowering springs there is no way that Would be as fast as a 600HP Mustang with a good hook up. But it is a moive.

But it is only a movie.
Exactly! Chill out, everybody! Jeez, we're arguing whether some ficticious character in a totally fantasized plot used NAWSS or not! Still, not nearly as good as 'Bullitt' or 'Gone in 60 Seconds,' IMO.

Maybe this is a a stupid question. How do you make 700 hp in a 4 cyl. Why can't us mustang guys make 1400hp in our 8 cyl. Somebody please educate me.

there are plenty of mustangs that make 1500 hp and more. they are as rare as the imports that make 700 hp. they are the drag only stroked, poked, and force fed. the eclipse in fast and furious was 80 g's. you put 80g's in a stang and you're runnin low 7's high 6's. they are runnin 10's.

Um, the Supra is a I6. And as far as traction is concerned with the Supra, the suspension set-up was made to hook. The Supra isn't your standard cut spring job that many idiots and ricers do. Not as fast as a 600hp Mustang?? Off the line maybe since the Supra has IRS, but end of 2nd begining of 3rd, the Supra would be flying past. If anyone wants more info about Supras in general, I would be glad to share.

The only Supra I seen at the track ran high 12's. As far as Bullit and gone in 60 seconds being better movies I think not. They are all about the same including vanishing point, dirty mary crazy larry, two lane blacktop, etc. The only exception being American Graffitti a first rate movie and a true classic.

I LOVE Gone In 60 Seconds!! In my opinion it's WAY better than a bunch of riced out imports buzzing around. But this isn't a thread about which is better. And it's only my single opinion. Sooooo.....ignore this post.....

Gone in 60 seconds=Yeah!
Fast and the furious=Nay!

Gone in 60 sec. is way better.

Both are exaggerated, but F+F is way worse. "I live my life a 1/4 mile at a time" Please! Gone in 60 has better actors, cars, ect.

How long can a 1/4 mile last anyway? 10 mins. in F+F time!

How annoying. I wish this pathetic excuse for a movie withers away soon. VERY soon

Kids just like it because they think it makes them cool to jump on the FATF bandwagon, and just MAY give them a chance to soup up Daddys 1989 civic CX

GAG ME ALREADY *argh*
