Default 93 Cobra Amp Bypass Help

Hey,
I'm trying to install a Kenwood aftermarket cd/mp3 head unit (KDC-MP6025) into my 93 Cobra with factory premium sound. I have the deck kit (American International FM-K504) and radio harness (American International FWH-594).
The factory amp is located under the front passenger seat rather than behind the ford head unit. I need some help with bypassing the amp. I'm looking at the American International FWH-5 harness however it looks like it would bypass from behind the head unit....do I use this under the seat?....thats the only place it would fit. Any suggestions?
