Exclamation Amp Question

Has anyone heard anything about Cuspid Amplifiers? I am looking at one on ebay. Here is the specs that are listed:
1600 WATT MAX POWER OUTPUT!
PLATED TERMINALS & RCA JACKS
ADJUSTABLE GAIN CONTROL
10KHz -30 KHz
INPUT SENSITIVITY: Adjustable from 100m V to 1 V
BASS & TREBLE CONTROL
BRIDGABLE 4 or 2 CHANNEL STEREO AMPLIFIER
Overload and short protection
4 X 400 WATT MAX POWER!!
TOTAL HARMONIC DISTORTION LESS THAN 0.05
Stylish New ALL-BLACK Exterior Finish
SBS Super bass system
Hi-Fi system technology

Does it "sound" like it is any good?

Guess that make my choice a little easier, thanks for the input.

Should I be looking for an amp to handle RMS or Peak power. I am looking at Kicker Comp VR 12" and they are rated at 800 W Peak and 50-400 watts RMS. What amp would be a good one to go along with these subs. (Wattage and Brand) I am looking to put them in a sealed box at 1.25 Cu. Ft.

I am guessing that 50-400 watts RMS depends on how you hook them up, right.

i was reading your specs on it and they seemed rather similar to the crap that legacy makes...if its going to two subs, bah dont bother, but if its going to one sub, get a 2channel and itll power it, but no where near its potential...this is only if they are CHEAP! but im gunna go with dark and josh on this one...

Always try and run at least the maximum RMS wattge to your woofers for the best results.

I like Tireburner would suggest a JBL 600.1 from Scala1 on ebay. He is very credible as both Tireburner and I have bought from him a few times.

Later,
Nick

Not quite.....for a single 12" I would suggest a JBL BP300x1.

Thumbs up

Thanks for the info. I now need to go to the drawing board and see what comes out. When I get everything planned I will post again and see what everyone thinks.
