factory remote entry / starter kill
I've got a 94 Mustang GT with the factory remote entry / starter disable.
I recently had my hood and front bumper re-arranged by someone who decided red lights don't apply to them. Got it back from the shop and drove it home. Decided to go out later and it just won't start. My guess is it has something to do with the factory starter kill. I hear the fuel pump coming on, and it's getting power, but the starter just doesn't seem to kick over. No clicking or any noise of any sort while I'm engaging the starter. Has anyone run into a similar situation? Could anyone tell me where the starter kill module is and how to bypass it? Thanks in advance!

Mine is up by the steering column. I'm not sure if unplugging it would solve the problem though. It should be a little bllack box thats about 4x5 inches by about an inch thick.
good luck andy

Should have two wires going to it, one is like white and red, and the other is red and blue (I think, I've only seen them once). Unplug the module and jump those two wires.
Do you have a stick or an auto? Take care, -Chris

It's a manual transmission.

Have you inspected the switch on the clutch pedal? It does the same thing.
Take care, -Chris

I'm an idiot.
DAMN. I feel like such an idiot. It turned out to be neither the clutch pedal sensor or the remote keyless entry. I foudn this out after I pulled the bottom of my dash off and checked all the connections, etc. I decided to go back through my steps and start from the beginning to see if the starter was getting power (of course, I'm lazy so I never really checked at the starter). Checked all my fuses again for continuity and they all checked out fine. I decided to be a little more thorough this time around and check to see if they were getting power through them so I hooked up the battery and checked the first fuse.. read 2-3 V. The other 2 checked out fine, but that first one seems to have a bad connection. Pulled out another 40A fuse from the rear window heater and hooked that up. Started right up.
So, please, if any of you are ever in the area, feel free to come by my house and give me a good kick in the *** for being such an idiot.
