FORD OEM ALARM

I have a 95 GT with keyless entry and the "security anti theft" deal. It works sometimes, and sometimes it goes off for no reason. NOW, the unlock remote button does not disarm the alarm, so no matter what, the alarm goes off when I open a door. I have to use the ignition bypass switch to start my car everytime. Does anyone know anything about these things? I cut the siren wires, it was very annoying. ps, this thing auto arms, so when i shut he doors, it turns on. fun.

The folks at Ford leave a lot to be desired as far as wiring logic diagrams. The normal answer is the receiver has gone to ground and the circuit is in full bypass (doors closed at all times). The real answer may be the receiver is just dead. Without a good wiring and logic diagram you have to take it to the dealer, pay $75.00/hr and they replace whatever the computer says.
My Mach stereo is anothe joke. No logic at all to the wiring since there is no logic or wiring diagram available. I will attempt to take to the Ford Care center here and get some information on your problem and the Mach.
