Question Interior (courtesy) light will not go off!!!

This past Saturday, I noticed that my courtesy light did not turn off after I had locked my doors. I thought that maybe I had turned on the map lights by accident, but I didn't. Both of the doors were closed, and so were the hood and trunk. I am going to take it to a Ford Service center next weekend, but I am wondering if any other of you Mustang owners have had this problem and if so, what caused it?? Thanks.
