Programing keyless entry on a 94 GT
when i bought the car the keyless entry did not work, i replaced the batt. and still nothing. Dord a dealership charge for this. can i do it my self.

On my 95 GT, in the trunk, on drivers side, remove the lining and look for a control box. Turn key ON engine OFF. Next to it is a little 2 wire connector. "short" these two leads out (jumper wire or something), and the door locks should cycle. Now hit any button on the remote, it should also cycle the locks. Turn key off, locks move again to confirm programming. This is how to reprogram the remotes. I had to pay to learn this, you get it free!!!!

oh yeah, and I think this is for the 94-98 only. 89-93 is a different procedure.
