![]() I noticed your post and thought you might be able to help me out. I have a 94 SRS automatic, coupe and the stock cd player has slowly been dying (all it says is BAD) and I can't do anything, even eject the cd, play radio...etc. I have a tape deck from a 96 ford windstar that I'm trying to put in, but getting no sound. I tried putting a 9V battery to the speaker leads but still no sound at all. Could there be some kind of internal preamp in the CD deck that's not in the tape deck?

![]() I have a 98 LX and im trying to replace the stereo with an aftermarket one but after getting the units out of the dash I came to a problem with the amp wires. I can't seem to get the amp wires off the original units, along with that since there are two i have no idea what to do with the other amp wire. How do I get the wires off and what do i do with them after that? Thanks.

![]() i need help...
where can i get a free diagram of the stereo wiring for a 1989 lx??? there's no plug on the end of it, and it seems to be having problems! when i turn the stereo on, it works fine, but no memory. both power wires only come on when there is power supplied by the ignition. when i turn the lights on, the stereo goes out. ive installed many stereos, and never run into a problem like this. can anyone help me???? oh yeah, no dome lite either, but it works when i hook it to a speaker lead!!! WTF????

![]() Hey audio junkie! I've got an '88 Mustang GT with the factory premium sound cassette radio. I also have a a newer bunch of factory stuff, namely a CD radio from a '93 Mustang, and the premium sound cable and amp too. I would like to get this stuff hooked up and working in my '88 car for the summer cruising season ahead. Please help. I know, it would be a lot easier to install aftermarket, but I'm after a factory look here. Thanks, Steve

![]() I need help!!! Please!
I have an 2003 Mustang GT convertible with the Mach 460 sound system. Everything seems to work fine, but the speakers.. The tweeters (one on top of each door post) (and one on each side in the back) are the only speakers getting any sound. The two noramal sized speakers in the bottom of the door and the two larger ones in the back don't work. I checked all the fuses, etc, etc and still nothing.. Any ideas ? |
