![]() Hello all, I need some help, I have an 88 Mustang LX 5.0 and want to ad an after market radio to it. I bought the correct wiring harness and connected all necessary wiring. When I connected the wiring (other than the dimmer wires) I got a strange electical buzzing noise and no audio. I checked the original wiring harness to the car, the wire colors do not match up, but there is no wiring schematic in the manual. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong here, I know everything works because when I put the old stereo back in it works fine. Anmy thoughts because I am stuck.
Thanks a bunch for any help |

![]() The wiring harness that you bought should have a diagram to hook it up properly. If it didnt have it go up to Best Buy and look at a similar harness kit usually they are on the back of the package.
