Post Will 8" speakers fit in 91-93 GT doors?

I'm still trying to find a car, but when I do I'm going to move my current CD player, subs, sub amp, and front speaker amp into the new car. However, I will leave the old speakers in the doors of the old car since I had to cut to put them in. This means I'll be buying new fronts for the next car. I have my heart set right now on ID Chameleon 5.25" mids, tweeters, and crossovers which will be going into custom made kickpanels, and possibly IDQ 8's for the doors. Do the doors of these cars have enough room to mount an 8" speaker? I can space it somewhat if I have to, as long as there's at least 2.5" of clearance or so (next car will have power windows/locks). Anyone?
