![]() I would mount the tweeters on the door somewhere with in a foot of the 6.5's, as far as cutting wires goes it depends on if you want to rerun all the speaker wire in the car, if your using an amp I would rerun all the wires I think I would also leave the 3.5 out of the sound system you will get plenty of sound out of 6.5 and a tweet in the front end.
