Replacing speakers in an 88 hatch, need help
I have never installed speakers before so I need a little help. Can i just cut the wires that are going to the stock ones and put them on the new ones, or should I get all new wires? Then do they just screw in? They are all Kenwood speakers
KFC-835C 3 and 1/2 in the dash KFC-XR61p 6.5" Component for the doors KFC-X688C 6x8 for the back Also the components have seperate tweeters, I planned on mounting them either in the corner by the windshield, or the top piller after the door so they are right above the headrest on the seats, which would be better. Then where do I run the wires to? And will I need an amp? Thanks for all help

I would mount the tweeters on the door somewhere with in a foot of the 6.5's, as far as cutting wires goes it depends on if you want to rerun all the speaker wire in the car, if your using an amp I would rerun all the wires I think I would also leave the 3.5 out of the sound system you will get plenty of sound out of 6.5 and a tweet in the front end.
