Default Code Alarm Instructions

I have a Code Alarm installed in my car. I have the key fob. The car was purchased used, so I really never figured out how to use this thing.

Does anyone know? I have a red indicator light too. It goes off a lot when we try to use it..but I think it's us and not the system.
