Best amp location in convertible?
I'm looking for the best place to mount a power amp in my 86 convertible. The previous owner had screwed it up underneath where the top folds into tohe trunk area. It's some light weight composite material - not very sturdy. Any suggestions?

really, depending on the size of the thing, the stock location might be best. I had to mount some 3/4in plywood for a secure mounting platform, but it works (mount it to the studs the factory amp was bolted to). I thought about mounting vertical to save space, and have seen them UNDER the rear set (there is an inch or two). Not sure how this would affect the heat dissapation, but have my suspicions...
