Everyone, I'd like to announce that we've just added Douglas McKinnis, a.k.a. Power, as a moderator here on the Audio, Security, and Electronics forum. Power is going to make an effort to be more involved with the forum and bring more activity to this area of the message board.

Please give him a word of welcome!

Thanks guys.

Yeah, after talking with Dan a few times I convinced him I might be able to increase traffic here in the AS&E forum. I guess I'll see what I've gotten myself into soon.I have noticed that this isn't a ricer board and the majority of people on here are more performance oriented versus show oriented. That is ok, I don't plan on trying to convince anyone do dump their Hi-po engine in favor of a "Phat" system.

Seriously though, I have been an installer for several years and worked at high profile shops. I don't claim to know it all and am always learning new things. I take corrections very well, so if I make a mistake feel free and correct me.

Well, I guess thats about it. I guess I'll see how long I can get away with not putting up one of those personal profiles.....

Welcome aboard, Power! I am sure I can use the help here. I am probably the most electronics illiterate person there is, so any help you can give folks here would be much appreciated.

Harry, my partner in crime. Good to meet you. I don't think Ive see you post very often around here. Well, the forum isn't the busiest place but I would love to see more people come in here with technical questions. I'm supposed to go Saturday to the dealership here to look at the new mustangs and learn their electrical system. I've never done an installation in one of them so I need to look at it and get an idea for it. And now I need to find someone with a Fox Body and check it out as well.

So anyway.......ya, this should be fun. Hopefully someone gets interested.

In my experience, Mustangs have been the easiest car I have ever did any stereo work to!

The next best thing after speed is a good solid deep booming bass note that can be heard from blocks away..AHHHH

I have a CRX that I am preping to take to sound offs in the racing off season that way I can have something to do year around.

So I am sure I will have plenty of questions.
