![]() i cut an opening in the top to fit my kenwood 6x9's. i also made a custom spacer (about 1/2 inch) to fit between the speaker and the rear deck. looks good, and the 6x9's sound better too. i also re-wired my whole car with better wire. it was pretty easy, just ran the wire under the carpet to the rear. u could do that to bypass the pre amp.
