Question Cobra lights on a 99 GT

When replacing the indicator circuit with one less light bulb. (Going from two light on the GT to one with Cobra lights on a 99) What do I do to keep the correct flasher speed? (Now I have a light dangling in the trunk... :-)

Do I need a new flasher? Does anyone make one that will work? Can I replace the light with a resistor or something? Has anyone done this before?

THANK YOU ahead of time for any responses.

I will definitely have to look this up somewhere. I have never had any experience with this or attempted it. I'll try and find an answer for you and post it if no one else has any ideas.
