Exclamation what oil psi is the norm??

I have a stock oil pump it is not to new. I am running 5w 10 full syithetic, the car has 116,000 miles on it.

30psi at 1000rpm up to
55psi at full load 3000-6000rpm

dose that seam a bit low?

Actually that is pretty darn good considering the miles on the car and the weight of the oil you are using. I wouldn't worry about it.
Regular oil changes is the best maintainance
you can do for a car.

thats really good..i got a new short block and a high presure oil pump and when its cold i see 80ish at and idle and higher but once it gets warm i see 40 at an idle and 70-80 crusing

I agree that is pretty decent pressure for the weigh poil and how many miles you have. I think they say 30lbs at idles with 5w30 is good for the low.

I ran a High Volume and had 80psi at idle, over 100psi cruising, and after it got warm I had 70-73psi at idle. I took that thing out and put a stock pump back in I now have 75 at cold and around 45-50 at warm idle, and around 60-65 while crusing, all with 5w30 Castrol.
