Older cars/new sterios
I have a '79 with the stock 2 post AM/FM 8-track Ford Premium sound. Power amp pull switch located on bottom of dash. Remember these?
Well anyway, it still works, but I would like to upgrade the system, beyond better speakers. I would prefer not carving up the dash to install the current din style of reciever. But that seems to have really limited my choices to about oh....nothing. I did see at the local Wallmart that Kraco had a couple of replacement two-post systems but surely there are better choices. If...I do reconsider and start carving up the dash for a din style, I would of course want it to look factory installed. Comments?

Re: Older cars/new sterios
you could always leave the dash/radio intact and put a modern stereo/cd player under the seat out of sight. make it a 6 cd changer and you can run for hours without needing to get to it
