Question What kind of alarm should I get?

I am thinking abouut getting an alarm system on my pony. What brand and model should I get. I am looking to spend around 300 at the most. I want to best without making me broke at the same time. I have a standard so remote start is out of the question, also I don't want the option where you can open the truck remotely. Please help me out. Also, where in Houston can I get it insatlled? I have been looking at Car Toys and Bast Buy.

I got it installed at Car Toys. They have sensors for drop tops. You can program the buttons on the remote to do whatever you want. You can have auto start, window roll down, trunk unlock, power door locks, hood pin switch (so they can't break into your engine), glass tap sensor, and much more. I have the doors, and the hood pin sensors. I have a standard so the auto start is out of the question. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Cool

It was 450 or so. They have a life time garentee (sp?) on all of their installations. What is cool about car toys is that if you buy another car, they will take the alarm out and put it in the new car for free. I am pleased with them. They told me it would take about 6 hours to install and they did it in less than 4. Not bad They have a nice selection on audio stuff, but I install my own stuff so I don't have to worie about that.

Sweet, I have a Sony Xplode MP3 player head unit. With the 50Wx4, it rocks!!! This Xplode is the best head unit I've seen in a long time.

Cool

It is only one tone. It is a VERY high piched tone. I beleave it is about 110Db, which is pretty loud. After about 10-15 seconds of it going off, it starts to hurt your ears. It feels like there is a pounding on the inside of you ears (which is good for the theif). Let me know if you have any other questions.
