Default Door lock problem (85lx)

I am having problems with my electric door locks. They don't lock at all. Both sides. Even the manual lock buttons don't move. The car is an 1985 lx (V6). They have never worked. I hope someone has seen this problem. Thanks Jose

I guess none of you foxbody guru's have run into this problem. It's weird you cant even push down on lock knobs. They seem frozen.

I think you are gonna have to give us more to go on. Have you taken apart the door? Are all the pieces there? Are they rusted together?

I would think it strange that both doors don't work even if you manually push down on the button (the manual one, not the electric one).

I opened the drivers side, everything looks clean (new mexico car no rust). It seems to be binding. I thought that maybe the relay was stuck locking both sides, but it does it even with the battery disconnected. When you push on the manual lock it doesn't even move. Nothing is bent . Nothing obvious very strange, thats why I posted. Iwas hopeing someone had seen this problem before. Looks like I might have to cut the door panel a bit to get a better look ( it's pretty hidden where the locks are).
