1995 Mustang 2 dr coup V6. Teen daughter bought new radio.Need to bypass factory amplifier. I have looked behind radio glove box under seats in truck kick panel. Anybody know where it is? Thanks

You should post this under Audio, Security and Electronics, it will get read there.

As for your question, I think the amp is under the package tray in the trunk or under the rear seat. You could wire the radio like the car never had a factory stereo. You can get a wiring harness that uses the factory plug for power but run your own wires to the speakers, just unhook the factory speaker wires and plug yours in.
