amp power wire
Hey everyone I just got a mustang less than three days ago and i am putting a system in it. I have a big problem though i cant find a suitable place to put the power wire threw the fire wall. What is the best part to put it threw the wall???? If anyone can be of help i would appreciate it alot thanks all.

O oops its a 1997 mustang coupe no mach stereo just regular am/fm boring stuff. If you could help i would be thankful.

Your lucky, the Mach 460 system sucks and is almost impossable to upgrade.
As for the hole in the fire wall. You'll need two things. A rubber gromet...........and a drill -Josh, aka the tireburner

Ok so i am gunna have to make a hole for the wire then i guess if its gotta happen i'll make it happen. Well thank you for your help its given me an idea of what to do as for the rest of the system upgrades i might need some of your guys/gurls help. Anyways well i am gunna go start installing now later all.

There's a grommet where up and right of where the steering shaft goes through the firewall. You can make a small hole in it and run it through there.

there is???? thanks i will see about that steering shaft idea sounds good. Well for the system is it a complete alpine system consisting of four 6 by 9's and two 12's in the trunk. Only ran of a single mrd-300 waiting to get another amp the same or maybe the mrd- 500 which ever comes first. The system should be installed this wensday for sure since i have to work tomorrow : p hate it. But wensday i got all the time i need. Well thanks for all of your help guys if i need more help i will come to you first. Thanks again late
