Re: Radar Detector
They all work, get something thats either easily removeable from the dash or one that fits into the radio consol and blends in...you don't wanna get caught with it.

Re: Radar Detector
By the time your detector bangs off, you have most likely already been clocked with todays guns. 10 years ago, they were worth every penny. Today, not so much. Your best bet is to drive the speed limit.

Re: Radar Detector
it doesnt matter, i used to use radar detectors, and by the time it goes off, they are pulling you over. Spend the money on something else.

Re: Radar Detector
My cousins' got one in his 2003 Dodge RAM, the thing makes a light show when it powers up and says "Power......On" every time you turn the car on. The thing beeps every few seconds when you're rolling thru a small town because it picks up the patrol car on the parallel block that you can't even see...and any other signal that reaches it. You're right though, you can't slow your car fast enough to fool them, police are trained to identify a car's speed just by watching it go by...and trust me, they're pretty good at it. Bad liars though, for reference never let a cop you pass on the road while hes' moving tell you he has you on radar...it does'nt work that way. And if they ask you how fast you were going?...You don't know. I've had these guys pull the sleeziest tricks on me at traffic court.
