Default Buttons on Mach 460 Head Unit

My 98 GT has a Mach 460 Sound System and the black is rubbed off the buttons, especially the volume button. Does anyone know if you can buy replacements? Other than that the car is perfect, I just bought it for my son with 44K miles on it and it is as clean as my wife's 02 Mustang.

I tried a sharpie to color it in, but it rubbed right off. Any ideas?

Harold

I once saw overlays that would probably be part of a kit. You can overlay the cruise, power window buttons and I saw a kit that included overalys for the mach stereo system. You'll have to search around because I think most kits only include power window, cruise.

This seems to be a common problem. I'm surprised it isn't addressed more. Any luck finding the overlays, or another solution? The volume gets turned up and down a lot in a convert, clearly this is a poor design, but I don't like the look of after market systems in these (at least not the ones I've seen). I guess they went to speed adjusted volume on the 99 and up's. Any new ideas out there?
