Post 75m bullet junk??

Yeah i just got off the phone with a tech gut at Anderson ford motorsport and he said that the pro-m bullet 75 is junk if it's put out too far from the the throttle body. Has anyone else heard about this or felt it. I saw in the new 5.0 that they had a test with the new 80m and they picked up massive amounts of power compared to the 75m, but they though there 75 was broken. Well tell me what you think.

THanks JON

Well I know that the 75mm has problems with 24# injectors it make sthe car run real rich at low end. Pro-M was unable to get the fuel curve correct for the 24#'s. I just got rid of my 75mm Pro-M although I never had problems with it for a 76mm C&L. Darrin Hendricks, Pure Street 93 Cobra picked up 8 RWHP just by swapping his 77mm Pro-M to the 76mm C&L.

Well, that's news to me. I've had mine for several years, and even had it recalibrated when I went with bigger injectors and had no problems whatsoever.

Who did you talk to? Did he try to push another meter on you? As far as distance from the throttle body..what the heck does that mean? It will sit in basically the stock meters position.

IMO, the Bullet is a good meter for the money. I also know that the Pro-M 77 is an excellent meter, generally considered better than the Bullet....it better be for the price differce. I did have a C&L meter years ago and it never gave me a lick of trouble.
