Default is this the problem?

It usually happens after driving for about 10-15 minutes. When I push in the clutch to shift it revs to about 2000-2500 and stays there. If I shut off the car and restart it it goes back to normal. I have attached a picture with a circle around what I was told was the problem is and needs to be cleaned; I don't know what it is called, but if this is the problem and needs to be cleaned how do I clean it?
thanks.

Its entirely possible, and cleaning it is cheap and simple, so why not do it........

Default I am here to screw up this thread...

Mach I already answered your question... yes the IAB is probably your problem.

I have to know more about your valve covers. I was going to get the old Ford Motorsport covers until they changed them to the ones you have. However, after looking at your setup, the hose coming from the oil filler tube to the TB is still not a problem with it on the left side. Did you run into any other problems? I already have a 1" spacer and an Edelbrock intake (taller). Did the throttle cable clear O.K.? Why did you put a breather on the driver's side VC?

Another thing to check would be the 10 pin connector on the back of the intake. There was a recall on these a while ago, and a jumper wire assembly was installed to match the miss-matched connections of the 10 pin connector. What you described sounds like one of the symptoms before the jumper wire assemble is installed.

Thanks guy's for the reply's. Tomarrow I will take the IAB off and clean it and see what happens. If that doesn't do anything then I will check that 10 pin.

Bad89stang: I have the Motorsports covers, and a 1" intake spacer, A piece of extra metal on the throttle cable linkage hit the valve covers still so I just cut it off and it fits good now.

I attached a pic of it.
