Rapidly Flashing Theft Light
My theft light light flashes rapidly when I insert the key into the ignition and the car will not start. Can anyone help me with this problem? Has the passive anti-theft system been activated and my the computer does not recognize the code on my key as a valid code? Is there anyway I can disarm it so I can start the car? I tried everything recommended in the manual and even disconnected the battery. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Just for info purposes and since no one replied to my message, the problem turned out to be a bad transceiver in the computer. Consequently, the computer was not recognizing my key code as being valid causing the passive anti-theft system to shut the engine off and not allowing my key to start it.
