Stock HU
Just bought a 2001 mustang and i was tryin to put in my old aftermarket HU from my previous car. after removing the stock radio i decided it would be a good idea to test to see if my old HU worked before i installed it (i had problems with it before). I tested it on a battery we have in our basement and i couldn't get it to work so i decided id leave the stock HU in the car for the time being. When i went to reinstall the stock HU it wouldn't turn on. Nothing at all even turns on, ie no clock or display. I think there might be some code that i need to enter to get it to work again but i searched the internet and couldn't find anything. so do i have to take it to a dealership and have a code put in?

check all the connections on the back on of the HU.
Also check your fuses, something may have blown if you did this with the battery still hooked up. There is no "code" that I know of. -Josh, aka the tireburner
