sub install
Hey tireburner I'm finally, finally ,,finally getting around to putting my system into the 70 vert. It took so long I had to pick out a new head unit, they stopped making the one I had first wanted! lol I went with the Kenwood Excelon KDC-X879. Nice unit, it does everything but make coffee! My question is what gauge speaker wire should I be running to the subwoofer. It's a 10 inch alpine with duel voice coils. powered by a JBL BP600.1 I know some thin little wire wont handle that kind of power. But I dont want to overkill it either with some 4 gauge power cable either.

Just use any wire from 12-16 guage, you don't need any real heavy wire going to it. just make sure your using at min. 4-8 guage to that amp
