![]() I could not pay anyone to weld my torque boxes, so I bought a wire feed machine. Me and a freind spent all day yesterday under the ol wagon welding, pushing, beating, fixing, cussing, sweating. I am so pleased with the way my car feels now that it is finally repaired. We also installed new bushings. And while we were in there I boxed the uppers, lowers been done. 250,000 miles and the last ten years of dragg racing had done some severe damage. It feels like it launches harded, I will not know for sure till wed. nite. If your car occasionaly sways side to side, and you blame it on the road, or the big tires. Mine don't do it anymore, same tires, same road. I can not stress enough how important this is to do. I took ten years too long to do mine. It should be done at the same time as sub frame connectors.
