I wouldn't go any lower than 4 gauge. If I remember corectly your not running that much power, 8 Gauge wire is probably fine. But that being said you may be like me, the kind of person that puts a whole new shine on the word over-kill. Just saves time re-wiring it later if you ever upgrade to a much larger amp

I bought my Lightning Audio kit for $79, it was 4 gauge powre and ground, ring terminals, fuse, and fuse holder, wire loom, zip ties, etc it was pretty complete and it was good quality wire.

I should be able to pick up a amp install kit just like mine or of a simmilar level(Rockford Fosgate, JL, MTX, Street Wires, etc) at any sterio shop or you could check out Scala1 on E-bay and see what he's got.

Just as a refresher what amp are you running. I remember you are running AudioBahn subs, because we got into that debate about how wrong you were about sterio bass

lol

i know i coulda bought a set for $70+...didnt want to...and you paid what it cost for a 4ga monster cable set at CC...lol...i was just hoping someone would have some various parts around ....

anyways...im running my low-level 1800w legacy red-series amp....the new series (legacy 2) arent nearly as shitty as the first ones...i get clear power, i was very surprised...still not incredible, but very very damn good for $100...it took me awhile, but one site online had the distortion at .04%...which i dont believe, but i think its at least under .1%....

and i wasnt wrong about stereo bass...lol...i just dont have a 20foot wide car...

i cant seem to find a good set of 4-5' rca's though...

eh, I needed the cable that day, didn't have time to wait.

I'd stay with 8 gauge cable, there's no need to upgrade to 4 gauge wire, you amp isn't pushing enough power to warrent the extra money. I would say your only pushing 200ish watts.

I've got a set of Lightning Audio RCA's.....but the're 20' long not 5' lol.

im still trying to figure out about a decent battery terminal...but not a "terminal"..lol..all the ones i find on ebay are the kind you use on an extra battery...i just need a decent connector ring or something...a ring itself wont work because of the terminals on my car...its hard searching for specific tiny pieces...lol
