06 Roush upgrade???

Hi to all........first post, new to forum:

I just purchased an 06 GT, and am wanting to add Roush body kit and interior. Roush website says that thier leather seat covers do not work with cars that have the side airbag option. Mine has the airbags........Does anyone know if the seat covers will work if I remove the side airbags, or are the seat dimensions different for this option? Appreciate any help!

The Seat Sizes Are Different. But A Good Upostery Shop Could Moddify The Seat Covers To Work. I Bet If U Remove The Airbags It Will Cause Problems. For One The Airbag Light Will Flash And It Could Cause Your Other Air Bags To Not Work Properly. Hope This Helps.

The covers may work with the aribags, but Roush will not do it because of legal issues and risk. Therefore, you may need to seek the help of a custom shop.

Roush takes the existing seats, bolsters them and then adds the covers.

Also, check with an authorized Roush Dealer who is specifically certified to install Roush upgrades.
