Question 245/50's on 16" pony rims

Will 245/50's fit properly on 16x7" pony rims? I ask b/c I want smaller overall diameter but not as small as 225/50's.

Those are great for the rear, but I'd go smaller up front. Maybe a 235 or so. Reason being is that the 245 is so wide that the sidewall can flex in hard or moderate cornering. If I had to get new tires again, they'd be 235/45s all the way around.

Got 245/50's too. I think mine rub on sharp corners only on the left side, maybe my suspension is too soft. Maybe the noise isn't the tire rubbing. Could it something else?
