Default 2003 Convertable, after a rain storm

both of my back floorboards are soaked. I have sat inside and tried to figure out where it is coming from! Any idea where is it coming in?

Hey....back in the day I had a Lebaron convertible with the same problem...turns out my weepholes were clogged with dirt, leaves..etc....so when it rained, the rain water got trapped within the body of my car and somehow leaked into the back floor panel of my car....driving on hills I would literally hear swooshing....like waves....lol

What I eventually did was.....clear out the weep holes.....and I unbolted my seats and pulled the carpet out to air dry...ALSO when I exposed the bare metal floorboards...there was actually a prefab hole with a rubber stop that when I removed, allowed the trapped water to drain out of the car

Good luck

Thanks, I was wondering if that could be clogged up. I wonder if there is a simple way to clean them out without having to take the whole top assembly off completely.

Nah....listen....just get under the car...feel for the weep holes and clear out the debris....also....get a power wash wand from one of those coin-op car washes and hose the "insides" of your car...i.e. between the convertible top and the body....and in between the side windows and the body...then feel to make sure the weep holes are clear

Then....shop vac the water out of your car's interior and let it air dry
