You've got the car setup real well. Both tires are about the same distance off the ground. Very nice.
10.20's - you're knocking on the 9's there. Good job. E

Thanks everyone... next feat will be keeping the motor together for the remainder of the season.
Not sure how much more the stock block can handle... we'll see. Ryan |

Thanks! ...I think I might have seen your 'stang sitting over in the car show area, not sure. Lots of really nice rides parked over there... I got a kick out of hearing the EFI Boss 429 rumbling through the side-pipes in the pits, the one FoMoCo brought... to see it is one thing, but to hear it is a whole 'nother experience.

how much hp do you have at the rear wheels with your new set-up? Nice ride that you got there. I do believe they say 550 flywheel hp is safe but I know I have surpased that myself. One can only cross their fingers how long a stock block will hold. Killer pic and times bro.

That's awesome shot man. You know, I can't quite imagine how it feels inside a car that is lifting the front wheels off the ground . That's gotta be a thrill.

...based on the some of the 'calculators' I've used at various sites. No hard figures to share though, sorry... I can't remember the exact race weight of my car, it's somewhere in the 3100-3150 range, so I just use 3100lbs. when using the calculators for HP based on ET. Thanks BTW... the good air is finally upon us in my neck of the woods, so I hope to get some 10.1x's before the season is over... I'm so tempted to put the 250 jets to it, but the fear of scattering my internals all over the track is keeping me in check |
