Lots of things....All the Saleens up to 94 were LX's except for the few GT Sports that were made. The LX's get the ground effects, suspension, a full interior redo, wheels tires, 4 wheel 5 lug Disc Brakes, different shifter, dash, pre 91's(airbag equipped) had a Momo Steering wheel.
in 1991 Saleen started modifying the base Saleen...they got a Vortech/Saleen Intake, headers, exhaust, gears, and the litle things. 1992 was the rarest year...only 16(maybe 17, but I think 16) made that year. 1989 was the year of the sweet SSC. 160 of those made...it was supposed to be the SA-5(Saleen 5th Anniversary) Those have ported intakes, ported heads, a b cam, exhaust, gears....292 hp. They ran hi 13's stock.
