Default Cleaning

Ok, so I have my upper and lower manifold off for some work doing. While they are off I want to clean them. Here's what I did......I tried using engine brite foam to clean off the grease and carbon build up. Didn't work. I then used kerosene, I didn't try long enough to see if it worked. Right now I'm soaking it in hot water. What will be a good guranteed product that will get rid of the grease and the carbon build up in the runners of the manifolds?
