Does anybody know of a decent off-brand gear for less than 200 bones?

I think i saw an ad before by national drivetain about 3 or 4 months ago for gears like an insane low price like $139 or less. The site is www.natldrivetrain.com, i just checked the address, but the page isn't coming up. They have advertisements in several offroading magazines, and i think maybe also in Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords.

It was stated earlier that motorsport gears were $189 and I've seen them as low as $169 or so. $189 < $200.

Best place to get new gears for cheap is at a Mustang show or the like. Check around and see if there's one coming anywhere near you. I got mine for $140... best part is no shipping!

I agree with 91LXConv. I got my FMS gears at the Columbus Swap for $150.00. If I can get a hold of a friend I know he knows of a place that sells them for $150.00 every day. I'll post it if I can get a hold of him.

You can get a set of new Motorsport gears for $149 from Diversified Products Marketing. Not sure how good of a company they are but if you have the May 2001 Issue of 5.0 & Super Fords go to page 40. Hope this helps.

If you can't afford $170 for some gears, think about the money you'll spend on the extra gas too. Don't get me wrong, I think $30+ is a nice chunck of change to save, but if $30 is that a big of deal then maybe you should wait on it and see if you can afford the big picture. Just a thought, not meant to be a flame or put you down.
