No, seriously, I'm back home in MONroe until Friday or so, then I'm moving out to Grand Rapids for a while.

Yep. And I work in Farmington Hills, so I can't be too far.

You should bring that thing over here and let's see it! I don't know anyone else locally that also has a 351 stroker with a NOVI.

Actually, that was the point of my question for this thread. I thought perhaps some of the local MW people could get together and meet.

I have been having a few problems with it lately, I think the injectors are just too big to be controllable at low RPMs. I have 95# in there and need to get to something closer to 72# and it should be more driveable I hope. Then I need to get it on a dyno.

I have 83# injectors in mine and it is perfectly streetable and has good driveability. Lidio Iacobelli tunes my car at Alternative Automotive. He's the man. There's a little trick in how you set-up the MAF vs. the injectors though to getting better driveability when he programs it he had me do though.

It could be my MAF also. I have a 107mm Bullet from Pro-M in there right now. I have a smaller (83mm I think) Pro-M style on the shelf, but haven't gotten it recal'd yet. Which EFI system are you using, or are you using the EEC-IV and a chip?

Careful if you recal the MAF for S/C specs. Pro-M adds like 10% fuel on top end (a good thing), EXCEPT...... By doing that, you lose 10% of your MAF (pegging the MAF limits). Not too bad, unless you are getting close.

I would have it recal'd for NA as I did with the 107mm. I can put the curve directly in the EPEC and use that to enrich the fuel if I want. I would rather control my fuel with the fuel tables rather than have it baked into the MAF curve.

Well, what I did is use a Pro M MAF calibrated for 60# injectors even though I'm running 80#'ers. He currects for it in the tuning calibration and it yields better driveability.

That is basically what I can do with the EPEC, but if I have to get the meter flowed anyway, I may as well get it recal'd for something at least in the ballpark of what I have for injectors. What I don't know is if the MAF is even the problem. I seem to get a pretty decent signal from it, but my injector duty cycle is around 1.5% at idle and less than 5% at part throttle when it seems to load up and pop a bit. The plugs are just sooty after the car idles or runs at low load/rpm for a couple of minutes.

I dunno... you've gotta EPEC. Rudy might be able to help you or point you in the right direction. He's running an EPEC too. I'll send him a link to the thread.

Click on "Clubs" on the left navigation and click on Michigan on the US Map.
