At MOROSO Motorsports Park in West Palm Beach, FLorida two weeks ago, I met a really nice guy with a beautiful dark green Bullitt. He came down from Bradenton to try this track because the best he could do up there was a 14.50. He figured it was a crappy track. This, by the way, was a guy that knows how to race-he has several Buicks that are restored and he abuses them regularly. He had a newer set of slicks on the car and I figured he should be good for some high 13's or low 14's. NOPE! First pass was a 14.70 followed by a 15.10. He spun the slicks a tiny bit but the car just didn't go anywhere. I was a little dissapointed. But, that's why a opted for the 95 GT instead of the 98 GT I was originally looking for. I reall ywant ed the 5.0 for the ease and popularity of the mods.

Bullits are heavy. They weigh over 3700 pounds. That is why it was so slow.
