Default best sounding exaust system

i should have done this in the beggining but i messed up. ive spent about 400 on just parts for the exaust hedders, two different flowmaser setups, all mandrel bent tubing, H- pipe and it still isnt right with all that. right now the mufflers are 40 series flowmasters. what do yall' think is the best sounding exaust setup. money is not a real big issue. or do you know any sites with different exaust setups for a 5.0

i got all new headlight assembly for christmas with clear corners

What.... you don't like to sound of Flowmaster? I had 40 series on my mustang and i thought it sounded really good!

Furthermore, if I was to change to a diffrent exaust it would be Longtube headers, Mac pro chamber and Mac 3in. Cat-back, that system sounds sick on mustangs, if you don't mind a lot of noise.

I have been driving a 93 LX Feature Car Convertible lately, it is a raffle car for the East Texas Crisis Center, donated by our local Ford Dealer, Tyler Ford. This car has a 5.0 5 speed, it has shorty headers, an off-road H pipe and Mac cat back. I don't know how long it has been on the car, but it is the coolest sounding exhaust system I have ever heard. It is plenty loud withoug being obnoxious, has lots of blatt like old glass packs, the car sounds beautiful!

You can't hardly find REAL glass packs any more. I put some on my 65, but they sound like turbo mufflers, even after the "water hose treatment" where you get them really hot and run water up in them and let it sit a few minutes and start it up and spew it all out. I'm gonna switch to Flowmasters when I get it back on the road.

You can enter from anywhere. All proceeds go to the East Texas Crisis Center www.etcc.org. You can mail me a self addressed stamped envelope with a check or money order for $5 a ticket, made out to the East Texas Crisis Center, along with your name, address, and phone number. I will fill out the ticket and mail you the claim stub. Mail to Harold Phillips, 729 Joel Dr., Tyler, TX 75703.

The East Texas Crisis Center runs a shelter for battered women, a 24 hour hotline, and provide assistance and education for women who are victims of rape or family violence. They are a great organization and they help women and children all over East Texas.

Thank you!
