Cons- Loud as hell, illegal, loss of torque.

Pros- Loud as hell, will gain horsepower. I would recommend to not do this. What exactly do you mean by straight pipes? My definition of straight pipes is no cats and no mufflers. In this configuration your car will be too loud. I personally like insanely loud cars but the government doesn't. You'll be pulled over all the time and you shouldn't even bother going to the emissions test. You won't pass. You should just consider getting some aggressive mufflers like Flowmasters. They are legal and you won't be annoyed from the noise.

Pros: slight increase in hp(not enough to notice)

Cons: getting pulled over all the time, not passing emmissions, losing more torque than you make up for with hp, ungodly loud(too loud) I can't really think of any good reason to run straight pipes.
